Answers to some common questions about the Law Students’ Society.
Membership is open to every duly registered Law student of Joseph
Ayo Babalola University. You can obtain and submit the membership
form through the LSS Secretariat or download it from the Resources
page and follow the instructions provided.
Yes, members may be required to pay dues as approved by the
Society in line with the Constitution. Dues help support academic
programmes, moots, welfare initiatives and other activities for
the benefit of all Law students.
The Society occasionally calls for volunteers to join various
committees. Watch the LSS notice boards, WhatsApp platforms and
social media pages for announcements, or contact the Executive
Council through the form above.
Certain events, such as public lectures and legal awareness
programmes, are open to the wider university community. Other
activities, like moots or internal training sessions, may be
restricted to Law students. Details will usually be stated in the
event publicity.
